Explored the old closed show cave, it was nothing special and suprisingly involved crawling which is weird for a so-called ex showcave. It consisted of about 3 chambers connected by crawls and leads to a final crawl to a choke.
Once out a quick inspection of the area revealed another hole in the floor next to the clift, about 20m from the entrance. A careful traverse round and then climb down leads to a chamber about 4x4x2, there's squeeze down leads to a lower chamber with no way on (3x2x1). However, across on the other side there's a further drop which we used a hand-line to descend a climb of about 4-5m. At the bottom although wide (5x3x7) there was no way on except a slope up on the other side which lead to a small chamber (2x1x1.5) and a choke.
This second cave is not mentioned anywhere, and appears to be formed by the clift breaking away under the large boulder pile, very similar to Dingli caves on Malta itself, but much smaller about 30m long.
